New Harbor

Ken and I first stopped in New Harbor thirty-three years ago this week, on our honeymoon, just long enough to enjoy the view and smell the sea air. We've been meaning to go back and today we did. Again we enjoyed the view out to sea ~

And checked out the fishing boats in the harbor ~

This time we wondered which boat delivered these delicious lobsters for our dinner ~

Is there anything better than eating a meal outdoors, beside the sea? We did that a few times this summer, it's just a moment you can linger with long into the evening.

What a lovely way to celebrate--returning to where you began making memories as newlweds.

Congrats on another year of marriage! May you have many more years together laughing, loving, and enjoying each other.

Wow. Thirty three years. Sharon, you and Ken have undoubtedly weathered many storms. May you safely rest in each other's harbor.

Happy anniversary -- and thanks for reminding me of our fall honeymoon in New England! So very similar to yours, right down to the buttery sweet lobsters in Maine! We're hoping to retrace our steps one day soon, but this isn't a good month for that yet.
