On The Twelfth Day Of January

Outside, there is a wall of snow ~

And windchimes that will not be silenced despite the weather ~

Inside, shamrocks bloom on the windowsill ~

A cat sleeps in his new favorite napping place ~

A rainbow of new turtlenecks are folded ~

And a desk defies organization in spite of the owner's repeated efforts ~
Such is the state of life at 512 on this day in January.

I like the desk too! It looks like a place where wonderfully creative things happen.

Your kitty is adorable!! I can't resist a cozy cat, all curled up and snuggly.

A nice snapshot of Americana, 2011. That wall of snow extends south to us. We are digging out from 2 feet of fresh snow. I haven't seen this much snow at once in at least 10 years. It's really pretty, I love it.

Your desk sounds alot like most of us, defying all our attempts and total control:)

AH yes the snow, holding us inside. Loving the wind chimes will not be silenced and that your desk defies organization. Warm hugs to you!
